Daughtry-American Idol Results May 12

Chris Daughtry came on stage, which made him a household name several years ago, the premiere of his latest single “September” from his second album “Leave This Town,” on American Idol Wednesday night. A touching song about how as a child in a small town 100 people or so, was the summer like a big deal. Then you get older and it is not. Wonder is lost to adulthood. “September” was a vulnerable side of Daughtry, not as hard-charging and waxing a bit nostalgic. After the performance,  Chris Daughtry said to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest that the song was about his childhood, and having regard to its simplicity. When Ryan asked what advice he might have for the remaining American Idol candidate, Chris Daughtry said “they refuse to compromise andthe keep, which is true to you. ” Daughtry currently touring in support of their platinum album “Leave This Town”. “September” is the third single from “Leave This Town”. Ryan Seacrest said a season high 37 million people voted. The smart money said, Casey James would go home. I came to believe in the night, he would sneak by as Michael Lynch, was sent packing. Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze should have just given into the night.
