Who is Diane Downs? This woman has become famous in 1983, and his name is mentioned again lately. We tried to find out more from Wikipedia.
Elizabeth Diane Frederickson Downs (born August 7, 1955) is an American convicted murderer. She shot her three children, killing one, and then told police a stranger had attempted to carjack her and shot the children. After her conviction in 1984, she was sentenced to life in prison.
Downs briefly escaped in 1987 and was re-captured. She is the subject of a book by Ann Rule and a made for TV movie. She was denied parole in December 2008. (You can read further here)

Babcock Rebecca, the daughter of Diane Downs appeared in the “20/20″ news magazine interview on ABC.

Later grew this Diane Downs children took only 100 miles away from Diane Downs. Rebecca Babcock shared her story for the first time in 26 years tonight on ABC’s 20/20.
According to ABC, Elizabeth Vargas’ “20/20″ report is Babcock feature on “the seeds of a monster, and how this legacy has shaped their lives.”
“20/20″ airs at 10 p.m. Friday, on KATU 2.
