Hollywood Stars in Cancer Care Event

A number of Hollywood artists like George Clooney, Will Smith and Gwyneth Paltrow will take part in Stand Up to Cancer event in September. Event of this cancer care will be aired on various television stations in the United States.

In addition to those three stars, the other celebrities joined them in between, Denzel Washington, Renee Zellweger, Kathy Bates and Richard Branson. This event will also be enlivened by the appearance of Green Day frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, Neil Diamond, The Edg, Herbie Hancok, Lady Antebellum and Leona Lewis.

Vice originator of the event Stand Up to Cancer, Laura Ziskin who is also executive producer of this event was a cancer patient who successfully battling cancer. She will ask the star to ask viewers, with the question “are you going to stay with us?”.

“Every donation no matter how small will help scientists one step closer to the research for a cure,” said Ziskin.

Stand Up to Cancer will air on September 10 at 20:00. Television channel which will broadcast, among others, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC.
